Conscious Sourcing

A dialogue between idealism and pragmatism.

At Anupaya, we recognize that for a corporation to be an effective and positive force for change in the world, we have to start where we are AND know where we're headed. We strive for responsibly and ethically sourced products.

If its not 100% made in Canada o the USA, we source clothing from WRAP certified (worldwide responsible accredited production) manufacturers, who must comply with rigorous standards such as fair trade, child and forced labour free, exploration free, prohibition of harassment, abuse, or discrimination in a healthy and safe environment.

We are committed to using sustainable products and practices that tread as lightly as possible on the planet. Thoughtful packaging, post consumer recycled materials and supply chain responsibility. Wherever possible, we also commit to using highly sustainable natural fibres, such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and bamboo, harvested in ways that don't further pollute our waterways, that are biodegradable and take less energy to produce than conventionally grown fibres.

Committed to Community

At Anupaya, we believe that everything and everyone is connected.

We recognize that to some degree or another, the wellbeing of one person depends on the wellbeing of all people, and the wellbeing of everybody depends upon the wellbeing of our planet.

We aim to build positive and lasting relationships that foster health and wellness for all, by investing our time and money into our communities. Bringing people together in the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect - to restore and help care for our wild spaces.

The days of callous, self serving, slash and burn business practices are numbered and we aim to be among the new wave of conscious corporations working to restore balance and improve our quality of life, one community and one wild space at a time.

B Corp

Anupaya is proud to be an Official Pending B Corp (they require companies to walk their talk for a full 12 months before the final certification - we're a month away!!)

As a B Corp, we are joining a growing number of conscious and heart centred for-profit companies committed to making a real difference in the world by holding ourselves to higher ethical standards.

B Corporations voluntarily meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, accountability and sustainability, creating a language for change while using business as a powerful force for good.
